Project Update: Holmfirth Road, Holmfirth – Three Detached Houses
Works Completed to Date (August):
- Progress remains on schedule as we advance with our development.
- Roof trusses have been successfully installed on Plot 1 (Oakbrooke), and our skilled joiners are making excellent progress on the traditional roof elements.
- Plot 2 (Heatherbell) has seen the completion of first-floor joists and boarding. External walls followed, and the structure is now ready for trussed roofs.
- Plot 3 (Meadow Vale) has achieved first-floor joists and boarding completion, with external walls advancing toward the wall plate for the roof truss installation.
- Internal partition walls in each plot are taking shape, giving these homes their unique character and layout.
- Our attenuation system is now fully installed.
- Foul drainage systems have been successfully installed in all plots. Additionally, the upper-floor slabs have been poured in each plot, setting the stage for further progression of the internals
Works in the Next Period:
- The next phase involves the continuation of roof formation, including truss roofs, felting, slating, and preparing for the installation of the PV system on each plot.
- Final stonework required at the gables will be completed to add that finishing touch.
- We are set to commence the tanking system in preparation for the underfloor heating system installation.
- Anticipated commencement of the first fix plumbing works to ensure all systems run smoothly.
- Our team will be busy measuring up and placing orders for the windows to enhance the aesthetics and energy efficiency of these homes.

Works Completed to Date (July):
- We are pleased to report that the development is progressing as planned, and we are on schedule with our timeline.
- The stonework on each house is advancing splendidly, showcasing the exquisite Yorkshire stone, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the properties.
- Plot 1 (Oakbrooke) has achieved a significant milestone with the successful installation of first-floor joists.
- Plot 2 (Heatherbell) is scheduled to have its first-floor joists installed during week commencing 31st July, with Plot 3 (Meadow Vale) following a week later.
- As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have partnered with local PV supplier, Northern Renewables, to provide a PV package for each plot. This environmentally friendly initiative allows the houses to generate their own sustainable energy.
- Roof construction is set to commence towards the end of August, paving the way for the subsequent phase – the internal fitout.
- Our dedicated team is working tirelessly to ensure top-notch workmanship throughout the construction process.
